This will be my first exhibition with Artweeks and I am delighted to be showcasing my collection.
Available to view is a unique range of vibrant, high quality greeting cards, a selection of Giclée art prints, some framed Giclée prints and a few larger framed canvas pieces. I am also excited to be expanding my range to include some unique tea-towels designs inspired from my original artwork of alliums and dandelions. Bespoke orders are also welcome.
Located at my home in Tanners Court, Charlbury, I will be open from 11-6 Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th, and Bank Holiday Monday 6th and the following Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May.
If you are driving, please note that parking is limited in Tanners Court itself, but you can park nearby, or if on foot following the trail, use the car park in the centre of town.
I am looking forward to welcoming you!
Inspired by the structural beauty of the natural world, I use mixed media and mark-making techniques to create vibrant, pattern-like illustrations of plants, flowers, insects and wildlife. As I observe my natural surroundings, I see opportunities to capture what I see through an 'artistic lens', so as my artwork has developed, circles have become a predominant aspect of it.
With over 20 years of experience as an art teacher, I have been privileged to work alongside many ‘aspiring young artists’ to share and experience a love for making art, something I consider to be an invaluable tool in our lives. Always eager to explore new mixed-media approaches myself, I combine the techniques of drawing, print-making and mark-making layered on experimental inked backgrounds.
Located in Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds, I am fortunate to be surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife. Colour is a significant aspect of my work, and I love working with different colour palettes to create vibrant and striking combinations.
